been a while.....

WOW! It's been a LONG time since I have posted! Sorry for not updating, but these days I have very little time to do anything on the computer! The last time I updated was June and now here we are in October! So I will try to give a quick up date on us.:-)

We had a GREAT summer! Daniel, Grace Anne and I went on a mission trip and loved every minute of it! God rocked my world, it took Him sending me to Tennessee to open my eyes and realize that I can go on a mission trip everyday in my own town! There are people all around us that need help and need Jesus! We just have to take the time and do what God calls us to do and that is to GO and share His love.

We spent the rest of the summer taking small day trips and hanging out with friends at the pool! It was a great summer and went by TOOOO fast!

School started back way before I ready to start setting my alarm! I am working this year full time at a different school than the kids go to . Did you notice that I said kids with and "s"! That's right, my baby boy started kindergarten!!!! I just can not believe that he is old enough for school! I also can't believe that my sweet girl is in the 3rd grade and will be 9 next month! Time is flying bye way to fast for me!!! Grace Anne is still taking dance and loves it and she has also taking on a new sport this year, cheerleading. Drew wants to sign up for basketball so I am sure that will be interesting and fun at the same time!:-) They are both LOVING school and I am to, but still adjusting to working full time. I do miss my days as a stay at home mom, but know that for now God wants me to be working and has set me out on this mission.:-)

Daniel is doing great, still working at the church and enjoying what God has called him to do. On August 7th he was ordained to the full time gospel ministry. This was such a sweet day for us. Also in August, Daniel was rear ended and his car was totaled. So thankful for God's protection on him and that he walked out without a scratch! Besides work , Daniel is staying busy finishing his masters (he will graduate in May!!!!) and watching FOOTBALL during his free time!:-)

In September, Amber and David came to visit us and we had a great time! We loved having them here and can't wait to meet there sweet baby boy in January!!!! We also went to NC and visited with Jordon and Shannon and it made me realize how much I miss my them! They were great friends and neighbors, I vote they move back to SC!!!!!:-) Also, we added a family member, Molly, our new dog! I was outvoted 3 to 1 on getting a dog, but she is a sweetie!

I think that pretty much wraps up our life so far. We are always on the go taking kids here to there. Life is busy and I know it will only get busier!:-) Thanks for checking in. I hope to update sooner next time. My goal is at least once a month! I will leave you with some pictures!

Long time no blog!

It's been a while! I am sad that my blogging days are few and far between. I love blogging but it just does not fit in to my crazy busy schedule. If you are my friend on Facebook then you pretty much see recent pictures and know what's going on with us. If your not my friend, then look me up and sent me a friend request.:-) I can't promise when the next post will be, so your best bet is to keep up with us on Facebook! HA!
We wrapped up the school year and I can't believe that I now have a 3rd grader and a kindergartner! How did that happen?!?!?!?!
We are enjoying SUMMER!!!! We have not stopped since school let out! We are always sitting on G and waiting on O!HA! I have posted some pictures of our summer so far, but first I have some pictures of our sweet girl Sophie. Remember our fur baby that we got in November? Well, our hearts were broken in April when she got really sick and we discovered she had an incurable kidney disease. Friday, April 13th was a very sad day for us, we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Here are some pictures of her.............

I never knew how much I would miss a dog! I think Daniel and I had a harder time then the kids did! After a week the kids were asking for a new dog! They were told very quickly NOOO!!!!

Now on to a happier note, here are some pictures from our last 2 weeks!

Grace Anne had her dance recital. She did awesome! I was so proud of her and the little dancer that she has become! She LOVES dance and can't wait to start dance again in August. She also has found a new love, she tried out for cheerleader at her school and made it. So she is now a GES Dragon! You can imagine what we have to hear and see every waking minute. Cheering and Dancing! It does not matter where she is, at wal-mart, in the shower, at church, in the pool, she is dancing and cheering! :-)

I love this sweet girl so much!

We didn't waste anytime, school was out on Thursday and on Sunday we went to Atlanta for a week! Daniel was there for a conference, so while he was in class all day, the kids and I went and had some fun!

We went to the mall and they spent there money that they had been saving!

Grace Anne's favorite store!

Drew's new favorite store. I don't have a little boy anymore! He has let me know that he is now my BIG boy!:-) I just love my silly Drew Boo, he is always keeping us laughing. He is such a fun loving kid!

We also took full advantage of the pool!

We enjoyed Stone Mountain, but the best part was that Daniel got to join in on the fun!

The kids and I went to the Georgia Aquarium one day and had a BLAST! If you are ever in ATL. you have to go!

We came home from our fun vacation and got ready for VBS!!!! My FAVORITE week of summer! Last year Daniel and I had to sit out due to his heart surgery but this year we were back full force! Speaking of Daniel's heart surgery, we celebrated his 1 year anniversary on June 3rd. We are still in awe of God's love that was shown to us during that time. Daniel is doing AWESOME and you would never know that he has surgery. Praise the Lord, God is so good!

Here is me and my silly 1st grade VBS class! They were such a joy to work with, they blessed my heart!

Drew and Grace Anne had a ball at VBS and like their momma and daddy, it's their favorite week of summer too!

Well, that's all for now. We have lots more planned for this summer. I do ask that you be in prayer for Daniel, Grace Anne and I as we go on a family mission trip in July. We are so excited to be able to go and be missionaries together as a family. Drew will be sitting this one out, he is now my BIG boy but not quite big enough for this trip.:-)

Thanks for checking in on us.

Spring Break, The Zoo and Baseball

The kids and I were on Spring Break this past week. We had a wonderful low key week of just relaxing and hanging out with friends.
Here are some pictures from Saturday. We went to Columbia and had a fun friends!

Here are the kids at the ZOO. It was a beauitful day!

Alexander took a break from studying for exams and came with us!

After the Zoo, we met Tami, Allen and some more friends for dinner.

Then we headed to the USC vs. Auburn baseball game!

The family ready for the game!

Drew is our little Gamecock fan! He says he likes Auburn but he wants to go to USC when we grows up. Oh well, we still love him! :-)

It was a fun day!

Now we are getting ready to go back to school tomorrow. Only 1 month and it will be SUMMER!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
