Baseball Family Night!

Friday night we had a Baseball Family Night! We started off the night by playing some backyard baseball.:-)

After the game we enjoyed some sunflower seeds while mom got dinner ready.

For dinner we had yummy hotdogs and Nachos and baseball cookies for dessert.

We also had an extra kid for Family night. :-)

Maggie spent the night and joined in on the fun!

To end our family night we watched this super cute movie(and ate popcorn)!

The great snow of 2011

Sunday evening we got a call saying we would not be having school on Monday due to weather. We woke up Monday morning to find LOTS of snow! We had a great day playing and just hanging out together!

It was COLD out but it did not stop

Our neighbor built this cool snowman!

Sophie LOVED the snow, we had a hard time keeping her inside!

We also had a fun mini family night making

and drinking hot chocolate!

and last but now least we ended out night cheering on our Auburn Tigers!!!! I guess you can stay our day ended GREAT!!! National Champs!!! WAR EAGLE!!!!:-)

So that gets you up to date on our crew. I guess I should mention that not only did we get out of school on Monday, but we are out today(Tues.) and I just got a call saying we are out again tomorrow!!!!

Cabin fever is starting to set in, I'm thinking we may have to venture out tomorrow!!!:-)

Pumpkin Family Night

I am about a week behind on posting our Pumpkin family night.
This family night consisted of eating pizza(that had a pumpkin face), baking pumpkin cookies and playing BINGO! I don't have many pictures, but here are the ones I have from our fun family night.

We also painted our pumpkin's but I don't have pictures of that either, but they turned out sooo cute!

Football Family Night!!!!

We FINALLY got around to having another "theme" family night!

We started off our Football Family Night by going outside and playing a little football!

This little fellow was ILL, he fell asleep and he woke up on the wrong side of the couch!!!HA! Instead of playing football, he spent his time pouting inside.

For dinner we had good ole football food......Hotdogs and Nachos!

and dessert was Football shaped brownies and Reese footballs!

We ended out night by watching "Little Gaints"!!!

Welcome Summer ~ Family Night

We had BIG plans for a Welcome Summer Family Night this past Friday night, but I got sick with strep throat and spent 2 days in bed!
So, today we had a mini Family Day!

We had a BLAST with water guns

and water balloons!

and YES that is a balloon hanging on Drew's ear! HA

We had so much fun just being silly and hanging out.

On Friday night we also had plans to play with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, play in the sprinkler and grill out. Since things did not work out as planned we did what we had time for today.:-)

This is my sad teddy bear beach cake! LOL It may not be pretty, but at least Grace Anne and I had fun making it! HA

Even though our plans were changed, we still had fun!

Animal Family Night!!!!

Last night we had a family night. It was different than the usual family nights because Grace Anne was not here. Her best friend called and wanted her to come over and spend the night, so she skipped out on this family night!HA!

We started off the night with a snake pizza

well, kinda of a snake pizza, it's a good thing that it tasted better than it looked!HA!

Zebra cakes for dessert! Oh yea, we also had pink flamingo lemonade to drink!

We then played some "animal" games

We also played gorilla stomp(pop a balloon with your feet), which was Drew's favorite game, but the pictures were blurry.

The theme for the night was tied in with a surprise that we had for them on Saturday. The plan was to tell the kids at the end of family night by giving them clues. We had to tell our surprise early since GA was not there. The surprise was that we were going to the ZOO on Saturday!!!!

It was a fun night hanging out with Drew. I think he enjoyed getting ALL the attention!!!!:-)

Valentine's Family Night/It's SNOWING!!!!!!!!!

Last Night we had our annual Valentine's Family night. We had a simple night of just having fun and enjoying each other.

For dinner we had a heart shaped pizza, I know it looks sad, but at least it was good!!!! HA!

Then we played BINGO

and had tons of fun

eating candy

being SILLY

and sharing LOTS

of LAUGHS!!!!!!!!!

Today was an unusual day, GA and Drew were both out of school today and Daniel was off work today as well! We enjoyed hanging out and being LAZY!:-) The weather was calling for snow, but as we all know, that never happens around this part of the country! But to our surprise, this afternoon we looked outside and saw this......................................

Looks like we will be having a fun day tomorrow playing in the snow, making snow cream and drinking hot chocolate!!!!! :-)
