1st Birthday!!! Feb. 27,2007

Our Drew Boo!!! 2nd Birthday Feb. 27, 2008

Our sweet boy, it's hard to believe he is already 2! I have posted some pictures of his birth, 1st birthday and pictures of today so you can see how much he has grown. As I look at these pictures, I am reminded of God's love. We are so blessed! Drew is such a sweet little boy, and full of personality. He is always making us laugh, he is such a little clown:-). I am amazed at how much and how FAST he has grown. He is talking in sentences and LOVES to sing and dance. Some of his favorite things are trucks, footballs, trains, airplanes and playing with his big sister. We thank God for our little angel. Happy Birthday Drew, we love you!!!!
Having his Birthday donut:-)

Now, to our Day, as I mentioned in the last post, both of the kids are sick. Last night around 10:30, Drew woke up with a fever and was throwing up, this continued ALL night. So, we did not rest much. However, even though he was sick, we did try our best to celebrate his birthday!

I always go a little crazy when it comes to my kids birthday. We start off each birthday with a donuts for breakfast. This is very exciting to the kids since we hardly ever have donuts for breakfast! Drew did not have an appetite, but he did enjoy us singing to him and blowing out the candles! He was so cute, he sang Happy Birthday with us!!! He then opened up his presents from Daddy, Mommy and Grace Anne. Since both of the kids were sick, we stayed home from school today. We will have to reschedule Drew's birthday party at school. We played some today, but for the most part we sat on the couch and watched movies again.

Daniel came home for dinner and he had stopped by the store and surprised Drew with a cake and ice cream. Drew again sang Happy Birthday with us:-). Then Daddy had to head back to church. Drew started running a fever again right before bed tonight, and Grace Anne is doing better, but still not back to her normal self. Please keep our family in your prayers, we are all ready to be well again. Well, that's all for now, hope you have a great weekend!!!! Grace Anne has her first soccer game on Saturday, so check back later for pictures!

Mommy gave me a sucker to try to make me smile for the camera. It did not work but I did enjoy my sucker!!!:-)

Our Tuesday!!!

We started the day off at the doctors office. Grace Anne has been having a fever and complaining of a headache every night since last Wed., this morning she woke us up crying. She said that her throat and chest was hurting. So, we went to the doctor and he said that it is something viral and to let it run its course. She seems to be feeling a little better, but Drew started running a temperature this afternoon and has been fussy! They are both coughing and have a lot of congestion. So, the kids and I spent most of our day on the couch under a blanket watching movies.

Tonight Daniel had outreach at church so the kids and I had pizza night. They had Mickey Mouse shaped pizza for dinner. I have posted some pictures of the kids with their pizzas.

Please keep our family in you prayers as we try to overcome the sickness. Drew's Birthday is tomorrow and he was suppose to have a party at school, but since he has a fever and is not feeling well, we will have to postpone his party. We will be celebrating his BIG day at home, and do our best to get to feeling better! Check back tomorrow for pictures of the Birthday Boy!!!!

The Circus!!!

We had a great time at the circus. Drew's birthday is next week(Feb. 27), so we decided to start celebrating it a little early by taking him to the Circus! Scott, Brandy and their boys "Big" Drew and Bryce joined us for the night of fun.
Before we headed to the Circus, we stopped and ate dinner at Wendy's. The kids also enjoyed some cupcakes that Grace Anne and I got at the bakery today! After all, we were celebrating Drew's Birthday, so you have to have cake!!!:-)
The Circus was a lot of fun. We got there a little early, so the kids got to go down to the ring side and watch some neat tricks! I have posted a lot of pictures, and you can tell by them that we had a blast. We always enjoy hanging out with Scott, Brandy and the boys. Thanks for a great night, and for helping us celebrate "Baby" Drew's Birthday!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

Wow, what a busy week we have had!!! On Tuesday morning the kids had fun getting their Valentine cards ready for their friends. All day Grace Anne kept asking me if she was having soccer practice today, I told her yes, if it does not rain (It looked like it was going to rain most of the day). She said "then lets pray and ask God for it not to rain"! As the time got closer, it looked like the rain may hold off for practice, so we got ready and headed to the soccer field. When we got there it started to rain and practice was cancelled. :-( Let's just say she was not a happy camper, but we did find out that one of her best buddies from school is on her soccer team. That made her day!!!! I did get a quick picture of them.

Then on Wednesday, Grace Anne had her Valentine party at school. She had a great time. Daniel got to come to the party and he took a few pictures. I was teaching a 3k class so I did not get to make it to her party, but I did party with the sweet 3k class that I have been filling in for this week! :-) Grace Anne finished up her day with a Valentine party at church. I think she has had her share of sugar for a while!!! :-)

Today, Drew got to party with his mother's morning out class. He had fun giving out Valentine cards. After his party the kids and I headed to Chick fil A and met Daniel for a Valentine lunch. It was crazy in there. Kids were running everywhere, so we did not play for long.

As for the rest of the week, we are planning on doing as little as possible!!! :-) Daniel and I are looking forward to going on a date Friday night while the kids go to "kids night out" at the church. Well, I think that is all for now, hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!!

Weekend Fun around the house, Feb. 8-10

We have had another fun weekend relaxing around the house. Daniel is doing much better from his surgery. He went to the doctor this week and he said that it would be about 4 weeks before he will be back to normal. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues to recover.

This weekend was pretty calm. We have had some beautiful weather, so the kids have had a blast playing outside. We are getting used to being at home more. We are always on the go, but since Daniel's surgery we have all slowed down a little. I am trying to enjoy these relaxing weeks, because I know that our "normal busy" schedule will be starting back again soon! (like this week) :-)

I have posted some pictures from the past couple of days. The first one is of Grace Anne, she was playing dress up and decided to dress the pony up as well!!! Then last night I went in to Grace Anne's room and this is how I found her, it was to cute, I had to take a picture!!!! The next few are of the kids today(Sunday) after church. Grace Anne is wearing another outfit that I made her. :-)

Check back in a few days, we have several things going on this week, Grace Anne has her first soccer practice on Tuesday night and a Valentine's party this week. So, I will try to post again soon! Hope you have a wonderful week!
She was so proud, she had to leave it dressed up and show daddy!
How sweet is this?
Grace Anne is showing off her candy she got at church and I am not sure what Drew is doing!
Giving sister a big hug!!! They love each other, I am sure I will be showing this one to them in a few years and reminding them that they do love one another!!!! :-)

Pictures from Monday night, Feb. 4

Monday night, the kids decided that they would get their blankets and spend some time with Daddy. They were so cute laughing and playing together. Grace Anne fell asleep laying beside daddy. I didn't have fun carrying her to bed!!! :-) I also added some other pictures from Monday. Grace Anne is modeling her Valentine outfit that I made her. Yes, that's right, you read it correct, I made it!!! I got a little crafty and decided to get my sewing machine out. I also added some pictures of Drew. I can never get him to smile for the camera, so I had to post these!!!!

Super Bowl Weekend!!!!

We have had a quite weekend, just laying around the house and watching movies. Daniel is still recoving from surgery, so I have been busy being mom and dad. :-) The first of the week was tough with the kids, they just didn't understand why Daddy was not playing with them. It has been hard for Daniel, he can't stand that he can't play with them and help me out with the normal everyday things that have to be done. I told him to enjoy his rest, because as soon as he is better, I am taking a VACATION!!! :-)

On Saturday, Grace Anne thought it would be a great idea to go shopping. So, the kids and I went and looked around Target and then to CiCi's pizza for lunch. We had a fun time together, even
though we did miss Daddy!!!!

Sunday, the kids and I went to church while
Daniel stayed at home and rested. That evening we
went to a Superbowl party with our small group.
Daniel did go with us, he needed to get out of the house.
I think it did him some good to get out for a few hours.
The pictures that I have posted are of some of
the children in our small group. Daniel and I are so
blessed to be apart of such a loving group of people.
Our group is made up of 7 wonderful couples.
We meet every Sunday night at our church,
while we meet, our children are busy with childrens choir
and team kids. Each family has been such a blessing to us.
We are very thankful for them and their friendships.
The kids had fun playing outside while we waited for everyone to get there.
Instead of meeting at the church tonight we went to one of the couples house for a Superbowl Party. We all had a great time. The kids loved playing together as always!!!
