Afternoon Outing

This afternoon we decided to get out and about. Daniel wanted to go to Barnes and Noble, the kids had fun playing and reading while Daddy shopped.:-)

Then we went and had dinner at a new restaurant, Fat Boys Backyard Grill. It was very good and will be added up high on our list of places to eat!

Daniel is feeling so much better! He told me tonight that he is starting to feel "normal" again. Tomorrow we go back to MUSC and see the surgeon. We are praying for a GREAT report and that the air/fluid that was around his lung when we left the hospital is GONE!!!! Your prayers would be greatly appreciated!

Well, that's about all for now, I will post an update about the appointment tomorrow!

oh what a week......

I would be lying if I said that we had a great week. My kids have always gotten along really well, but I am sad to say that all they have done this week was FIGHT!!!!
When I say fight I don't mean just arguing(and they have had their share of that too), I'm talking about we have had a bloody nose, black eye kind of week!!!! I don't know what in the world has gotten in to them!!! I am blaming it on the heat and having to stay inside all day!!! Whatever it is, it's going to HAVE TO STOP, if not I am going to pull my hair out!!!! I am hoping they have gotten all their fights out for the summer and they start LOVING each other again SOON!:-)


The whole week has not been bad, we did have some good days!HA!
The kids and I went to see Toy Story 3. The kids LOVED it, but I was a little disappointed. I liked 1 and 2 MUCH better!
Drew had a few play dates this week. He enjoyed getting out and playing with friends and going to the splash pad with his buddy Hannah Moriah.:-)
Grace Anne went to Columbia with the church to a fun park and she had a BLAST! She is looking forward to the other day trips that are planned for the summer.
Daniel is still trying to gain his strength. He is doing very well and I am proud of him and his speedy recovery. We go Tuesday back to MUSC to see the surgeon.

I know you are wondering why I have posted a picture of Drew underwater. Well folks this is a BIG deal!!!! Drew has always been scared when it comes to water, not anymore! Tonight he was going under the water, jumping in and being a little dare devil!!!! :-)

I am so blessed to have 4 wonderful men in my life. Each one of them mean the world to me! I love you all very much!

The last day of VBS

Daniel and I stopped by VBS on Friday after his doctor's appointment. When we got there the preschool Worship Rally was starting. To our surprise we saw this little man on stage holding the Christian flag!

I think Daniel enjoyed being out of the house and seeing all the kids having fun and learning about Jesus made his day!

That night the kids and I went back to church for VBS Family Night!

When we got there, Grace Anne was asked if she would hold the Bible during the pledge.

She was soooo excited!

It was so much fun watching the kids sing and dance

We are so blessed to be a part of a church that has an awesome children's ministry.

This week the kids have been going to VBS at our church. They are having a BLAST! Daniel and I are missing it this year, we always look forward to Bible School. I think we LOVE VBS more than the kids do!:-)

As you can tell, it has been a fun week. Maybe tomorrow if all goes well, Daniel and I will be able to stop by after his doctors appointment.

Happy Birthday NaNa!!!!

Today was my mom's Birthday. We were so excited that she was here with us to celebrate. I am so thankful for my mom. She came here to keep the kids for us during Daniel's surgery and she will leave tomorrow. The kids had so much fun having Nana all to their self and they were excited to celebrate her birthday with her.

We had a lazy day, but we did order Outback tonight for dinner and had ice cream cake for dessert. I forgot to take pictures of today, but here are some of Nana and the kids back in April.

These two are going to miss their NaNa!!!
