Last week Drew's school went on a field trip to Young Chef's Academy. He had so much fun making cookies and bread sticks!

RIP Nemo

We knew it would happen sooner or later!

Remember this post?

Well, Wednesday morning Daniel found Nemo dead:-(. We were worried how the kids would react and to our surprise they were fine with it! Drew asked if he could get another fish(since Nemo was his) and Grace Anne was upset that she did not get to flush him down the toilet!!!! HA!

Now we are down to just one fish, Gloria. I am glad we started with a small pet because the kids have treated the fish like they would any other thing. Love it for a few weeks and then forget about it and move on to something else!!! The fish has ended up being Daniel's pets, he is the one that feeds and cleans the tank!YUCK!!!

So there you have it, the latest action going on at our house!HA!

It was good while it lasted.......

The weather that is!!!!

Monday we were out of school for MLK and the weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! The kids and I spent most of the day outside.

We rode bikes and had to take a break at the pond(at the end of our street)

and search for rocks to throw!!!!

We played in the backyard and of course Grace Anne kept me scared all afternoon by doing "tricks" on the swing and doing the "perfect" flip!!!!

I guess last years accident on the swing did not scare her like it did me!!!

We also enjoyed the wonderful weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, but today it turned COLD and WET!!!! At least we got to enjoy the outdoors for a few days!!!

Guess who we finally met?!?!?!

When we went home to Alabama for Christmas we FINALLY got to meet in person the one and only McKenzie Lockhart!!!!

Daniel has had the honor of helping out McKenzie and her team by doing her social networking. It has been neat to see God work in this young lady's life and be part of this exciting time in her life. The Lockhart's are such a sweet family and have been a blessing to us!

McKenzie is having a HUGE showcase in Nashville this Tuesday, January 19th. If you are in the Nashville area you have to check her out! She will be playing at 3rd and Lindsley at 6pm.

Daniel and I tried to work things out so we could make a quick trip to Nashville, but things did not go as planned.:-( We are really bummed about not getting to go and support McKenzie, but don't worry because The Dulaney crew will be sporting our McKenzie shirts ALL day on Tuesday!!!!:-)

Cloudy with at chance of SNOW!!!!

Yep, that was our weather forecast for this past Friday and NOOOO it did not SNOW, but never fear, The Dulaney's found a way to have some fun with snow anyway!!!

FAMILY NIGHTS are BACK!!!!!:-) We took off a few months during the holidays and the kids have about drove me crazy wanting to know when we were having a "themed" family night again!!!

So on Friday we had a SNOW DAY!!!!!

Grace Anne got out our coats, scarfs and gloves and set the table while I got dinner ready! We had a nice and warm dinner that consist of soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

After dinner, we played in the SNOW!!!!

and even made snow angels! HA!

we even buried Daddy in the snow!HA!

Next it was time for a SNOWBALL fight!!!!!

and YES we used socks for our snowballs, but don't worry, they were CLEAN!!!:-)

We had a GREAT time and had LOTS of laughs!!!

Then it was time for dessert, hot chocolate and "snowballs"( I looked for powdered donut holes, but could not find them, so we just pretended!!!).

Then we got our blankets and snuggled in front of the T.V. and watched..........

It was such a cute movie and ended up fitting in perfect with our theme for the night!!!!

The kids are already planning for the next family night!!! :-)
