Our little waiter!

Last night Grace Anne spent the night with nana and pawpaw. Drew decided he was going to be our waiter. 

What a little cutie. He is all boy, but he also has the sweetest heart! 

I noticed Drew was in the kitchen busy doing something and then he brought this plate full of snacks and set it on my chair and one on Daniel's chair. How sweet is that?  Even though neither of us were hungry we had no choice but to eat what our sweet boy had been so kind to fix. 

I missed having my girl around but it was nice to have some one on one time with my boy! 

Tonight we went to Emma's softball game and then headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings with the family for dinner.

Being around family is something that we aren't use to, but we are loving it! 

Summer Loving

Summer, I can't believe it is already here! This year flew by, too fast if you ask me. Today we had a lazy day that consist of staying in our pajamas most of the day.  The kids were busy playing and even set up an indoor campground in Grace Anne's room. They went to sleep in their sleeping bags, wondering if this campout will last through the night?

We went out for a Miami Ice treat after dinner and made a stop by nana and pawpaws house.  I told them to get together so I could take their picture and this is what I get! Silly kids!

Back to blogging...........for real this time!

I have decided that I am going to take a break from Facebook. I have a love/hate relationship with FB. I love keeping up with friends and family but I hate that some people use it in a negative way. Plus I truly have missed blogging and I have finally added the blogger app to my phone so that makes blogging so much easier!

I was an active blogger from 2008-2010 and I love looking back and going down memory lane. I love that I have milestones and pictures captured in writing.

So I am determined to start my blogging journey again! I want to capture as many memories as I can. After all, my kids aren't getting any younger. The time is flying by!  So instead of posting pictures and status updates on FB you will find all that here!

The BIG 4-0!!!!!

We celebrated my brothers 40th Birthday this week!

 Lee came over when he got off work thinking we were just going to have a simple dinner to celebrate his Birthday.  He was VERY surprised to walk in to and see the house decorated and everyone wearing BLACK!  HAHA!!!!

 We all had a great time celebrating Lee! We did miss Austin, he had to work, but he was able to stop by before the party was over. 

I am so blessed to have the relationship that I do with my brother.  He's not only my brother, he's my best friend! I love you Bubba, hope you had a great 40th!

Feel like home

This week was a so called normal week around here. 
I spent the first part of the week at the doctor and dentist.  I am hoping this week I can stay away from the doctors office! :-)  The kids are doing good, they have LOVED the nice weather and have spent every bit of free time outside.  Today we all stayed outside most of the day.  Drew's birthday present(basketball goal) has been put to good use! There have been several pickup basketball games going on!

The kids are counting down to Spring Break.  They are ready to be South Carolina bound and see their friends!

Grace Anne and her BFF Maggie sent each other some love the other day through pictures! They are such sweet friends and miss each other so much. 

Drew can't wait to see his buddy's Nicholas and Spencer! 

Living close to family is wonderful, but we all miss our sweet friends in South Carolina. Even though Alabama is home to me and Daniel, it just doesn't feel like home yet.  Praying that the next month or so we will meet new friends and find a church family and this place will start to feel like home! :-)

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Daniel's Birthday was Friday! Daniel and Drew almost share a birthday, so it was a week full or celebration going at our house!  We celebrated Daniel's day by going out to dinner and enjoying some yummy cupcakes that his bosses got him at work! He was showered with presents and lots of hugs and kisses from Grace Anne and Drew!

Day full of Birthday!

We had a super fun day celebrating our little man's birthday!

We started off the day with a birthday breakfast that consist of cinnamon rolls and of couse his favorite food BACON!!!!

He had a fun birthday celebration with his class at school!

Then it was time to celebrate with the family!

Drew requested  to have a Lego Ninjago party, so I had to get my creative juices going and that meant, search PINTEREST!!!! haha! :-)

We let him open one of his presents before the party started.  He was excited to get a new basketball and asked if he could go outside and bounce it........

He was sooooo excited to get a basketball goal! As you can tell the kids and Daniel were excited too!

I can't believe that our sweet boy is 7 years old! Time is flying! It was so nice having all of our family around to celebrate with us, this is something we have never had, but sure can get use to! :-)
