All Smiles!

Today was a normal busy day.  My day consist of taking kids to school, taking Emma(my niece) to get her braces off, visiting with my long time BBF Alicia(it was so good to see her) and volunteering at the afternoon at Drew's school.  After school we came home to do homework! Finally when Daniel got home we went out to dinner at a local restaurant.
Our days are becoming to feel more and more normal.  We are trying to get settled here the best that we can.  Our house in SC is still for sale, so that means we are still staying at my parents house.  We are currently looking for a rental house and are hoping and praying that in the meantime our house will SELL!  The kids have LOVED staying at Nana and PawPaw's and we are very blessed and thankful that we have been able to stay with them.  Every day after school Drew looks forward to coming home and seeing what he can do to help PawPaw work.
This is what he came home to today.............................................
PawPaw was digging a big hole so he can fix some plumbing!
Drew thought that was the coolest thing ever! HA!
I am going to leave you with a pic Emma, before she got her braces off and AFTER!!!!!
She was soooo excited and ALL SMILES!!!!!!!!:-)

Home Sweet Alabama!

I know it's been a while.  We are still trying to get settled and adjusted to Alabama.  We are loving living in the same town as our family! The kids are enjoying their new school and Daniel is loving his new job.  Here are some pictures of what our life consist of these days!:-)
Here are the kids on the first day of their "new" school.
I have LOVED having my nephew and niece around! Here is my sweet Austin at a ground breaking ceremony for school.  Also, here is a picture of my mini me niece Emma! I have loved spending time with them and being involved in their lives on a day to day basis. They hold a special place in my heart!

One of my most favorite thing about moving back home is being able to spend time with  my 84 year old grandfather!  We are so blessed to have him in our lives! He has kept me busy by taking him to doctor appts. and running errands for him and I have LOVED every minute of it! He is a mess and always keeps us laughing and on our toes! :-)

Grace Anne and Drew have adjusted better than I expected to the move.  They LOVE being around family!  They are enjoying their schools and are doing well.  Drew loves to play outside and his favorite thing to do is work in the garage with his PawPapw Ricky! He follows him around everywhere!  Grace Anne started at a new gym here and has picked up where she left off with tumbling

I do ask you to please pray for us as we continue to search for the church that God wants us to worship and serve him at.  We are really missing being apart of a church family but we know that God has the perfect place for us.  Praying for wisdom and guidance as He leads us.
Well, that all for now.  I know I have said this a million times, but I really do plan to blog more often.  I was looking back over my blog and had forgotten how much I use to blog.  I really want to get back to my blogging days and documenting our life.
I would love to hear from you and LOVE for you to show me some love and leave comments! :-)

P.S.  Although we LOVE it here, we miss our SC friends soooo much!!!!!  We wish we could move them here and we would have the best of both worlds! :-)

Big Changes.......

There has been big changes going on in our family! Over Christmas break, we MOVED to Alabama! After much prayer and confirmation from God, we knew that God's plan was for us to move back to our home town.  This was both very exciting and sad for us.  Although we were beyond excited to live in the same town as ALL of our family, we were extremely sad to leave our friends/adopted family in South Carolina.  I guess you can say that the last several months have been very bittersweet!
So, now we are in Alabama trying to get settled and adjusted to our new norm.  Daniel starts his new job on Wed. and the kids start their new school on Thursday. I do ask that you keep us in your prayers as we begin this new journey that God has brought us on.
I am going to do my best to start back blogging, I have missed it so much! I hope to hear feedback from you!:-)

Not a lot going on.......

We had a pretty good week. We are still trying to get into our back to school routine! This weekend was pretty relaxing, we were able to rest up and enjoy some family time.  I hope that my next post will be more interesting!
So, for now, I will leave you with some pictures from our Beach trip in early August!
P.S.  Be on the lookout for a family night post! We have one planned for Friday night!:-)

We had a great vacation with our adopted family, The Clabo's!

Back to School!!!!

We started back to school and it was an adjustment for us! I LOVE summer and LOVE sleeping late, having no schedule and spending everyday having fun with my kids.
All of that has come to a halt and we are having to wake up at the crack of dawn! So, needless to say, we are having a tough time with getting back on a schedule!

The first day was a success for everyone. Grace Anne absolutely LOVES the 4th grade and Drew says 1st grade is fun. I still am in denial that they are in the 4th and 1st grade!:-( I had a great first day as well. It was a crazy week and I got the "back to school head cold", but all in all it was all good!

The momma taxi cab will be in full force next week with the kids extra activities starting. So, when I leave my school, you will find me somewhere in between dropping or picking up at cheerleading practice, tumbling, piano, football practice and church!  Our life is busy with lots of fun thrown in! I wouldn't have it any other way! I will leave you with a few pictures from the first day of school!

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure most of my readers have given up on me and I don't blame them! It has been forever since my last post!  I don't really have an excuse, except for the fact that we are just BUSY and blogging has not been on the top of my priority list.  I have missed it a lot! I am going to try my very best to do better and post at least a few times a month.
We are all doing good. The kids are growing up too fast!  Next week school starts and I will have a 4th and 1st grader! CrAzY! I really don't know where the time has gone.  Not much has changed with us.
We had a WONDERFUL summer! We went to Atlanta, Alabama, Tennessee(mission trip) and Myrtle Beach.  We are sad that all the fun is over!
I started back to work yesterday and the kids start this Monday.  I can hang our lazy days up and pull out my taxi driver hat!:-)  My afternoons will consist of  running Grace Anne to cheer practice, tumbling and piano and Drew to football and karate! Although it is crazy busy, I won't have it any other way!
Well, that is all for now! Thanks for checking in on us. I promise to post again soon and start our theme family nights again! My family has missed them like crazy and have requested for their return! :-)

been a while.....

WOW! It's been a LONG time since I have posted! Sorry for not updating, but these days I have very little time to do anything on the computer! The last time I updated was June and now here we are in October! So I will try to give a quick up date on us.:-)

We had a GREAT summer! Daniel, Grace Anne and I went on a mission trip and loved every minute of it! God rocked my world, it took Him sending me to Tennessee to open my eyes and realize that I can go on a mission trip everyday in my own town! There are people all around us that need help and need Jesus! We just have to take the time and do what God calls us to do and that is to GO and share His love.

We spent the rest of the summer taking small day trips and hanging out with friends at the pool! It was a great summer and went by TOOOO fast!

School started back way before I ready to start setting my alarm! I am working this year full time at a different school than the kids go to . Did you notice that I said kids with and "s"! That's right, my baby boy started kindergarten!!!! I just can not believe that he is old enough for school! I also can't believe that my sweet girl is in the 3rd grade and will be 9 next month! Time is flying bye way to fast for me!!! Grace Anne is still taking dance and loves it and she has also taking on a new sport this year, cheerleading. Drew wants to sign up for basketball so I am sure that will be interesting and fun at the same time!:-) They are both LOVING school and I am to, but still adjusting to working full time. I do miss my days as a stay at home mom, but know that for now God wants me to be working and has set me out on this mission.:-)

Daniel is doing great, still working at the church and enjoying what God has called him to do. On August 7th he was ordained to the full time gospel ministry. This was such a sweet day for us. Also in August, Daniel was rear ended and his car was totaled. So thankful for God's protection on him and that he walked out without a scratch! Besides work , Daniel is staying busy finishing his masters (he will graduate in May!!!!) and watching FOOTBALL during his free time!:-)

In September, Amber and David came to visit us and we had a great time! We loved having them here and can't wait to meet there sweet baby boy in January!!!! We also went to NC and visited with Jordon and Shannon and it made me realize how much I miss my them! They were great friends and neighbors, I vote they move back to SC!!!!!:-) Also, we added a family member, Molly, our new dog! I was outvoted 3 to 1 on getting a dog, but she is a sweetie!

I think that pretty much wraps up our life so far. We are always on the go taking kids here to there. Life is busy and I know it will only get busier!:-) Thanks for checking in. I hope to update sooner next time. My goal is at least once a month! I will leave you with some pictures!
