Saying Goodbye is never easy......

Grace Anne's little world has been turned upside down. Her teacher, who she LOVES, is moving!:-( I thought Grace Anne would be upset, but I had no idea that she would take it as hard as she has. We have shed many tears here lately(you notice I said WE).

We are sad to see an amazing teacher and friend go, but we are also excited for her family as they move to Georgia and begin their new journey.

We are so blessed that God brought Mrs. Bibbs in our lives, she is such a special lady.

Ready to Race!

This past Saturday was the Awana Derby Race!
I turned this project over to Daniel! HA! The kids loved painting and decorating their cars.

Neither car won, but it was fun and both kids had a blast! After all, that's what it is all about!

The great snow of 2011

Sunday evening we got a call saying we would not be having school on Monday due to weather. We woke up Monday morning to find LOTS of snow! We had a great day playing and just hanging out together!

It was COLD out but it did not stop

Sophie LOVED the snow, we had a hard time keeping her inside!

We also had a fun mini family night making

and drinking hot chocolate!

and last but now least we ended out night cheering on our Auburn Tigers!!!! I guess you can stay our day ended GREAT!!! National Champs!!! WAR EAGLE!!!!:-)

So that gets you up to date on our crew. I guess I should mention that not only did we get out of school on Monday, but we are out today(Tues.) and I just got a call saying we are out again tomorrow!!!!

Cabin fever is starting to set in, I'm thinking we may have to venture out tomorrow!!!:-)

Christmas in Bama

Even though our trip to Alabama was delayed we finally got there and had a great time visiting with family.
Here are some pictures from our trip:
Grace Anne did a school project on Helen Keller and she was super excited about going to her birthplace. Dad and I took Grace Anne and Emma while everyone else stayed at PawPaw Andy's.

Both girls really enjoyed taking a tour and took lots of pictures!:-)

We had a wonderful time and shared LOTS of laughs! We were sad leaving our family, but ready to get back to our house!:-)

Snow Day!!!! The day after Christmas!!!

We woke up the day after Christmas to find everything covered in snow! We had a BLAST playing in the snow, the kids outlasted Daniel and I.:-) We had to go in and leave them in the backyard playing! My excuse was to get the hot chocolate ready!HAHA!!!

After our day in the snow, we packed our bags and were ready to head to Sweet Home Alabama!

Finally a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Post!

On Christmas Eve we continued our tradition of making a birthday cake for Jesus, going to the Christmas Eve Service at church and opening a few gifts!

Before bed on Christmas Eve the kids always get to open their Christmas Eve gift, which is always new PJ's! The kids also open up the gifts that they got one another.

On Christmas morning, Daniel and I woke up at 8:30 to find both of the kids still sound asleep! They woke up soon after and was ready to open presents!!!

After playing with our new stuff we had a nice lunch.

The kids were excited to eat on the fine china! :-)

We then had sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and ate cake!

We were planning on going to Alabama the day after Christmas but due to the snow that was coming our way, we decided to delay our trip a day.
