Math Night, Sickness and Birthdays!

Last night GA's school had Math night at a local grocery store. We had a GREAT time! The kids were given a sheet that had directions for them to go to different areas in the store and figure out math problems. It was a wonderful way to show the kids how you use math in everyday living!

This sweet little face was not smiling this morning when she woke up SICK!!!:-( Poor baby had the yucky stomach bug that is going around. After a day of being waited on head and foot, she is MUCH better! I am worn out from playing nurse and maid! I have sprayed enough Lysol in this house to kill a horse!!!! I am hoping and praying that my efforts of being Lysol happy today have payed off and the rest of us stay HEALTHY!!!

On a happy note, we are getting ready for a weekend of celebrating Birthdays!!!! Drew's Birthday is on Saturday and Daniel's is Monday!:-) Granny and Papa(Daniel's parents) are coming this weekend to help us celebrate.

Already celebrating!!!!

Drew's Birthday is not until this coming Saturday(2/27), but we have already started celebrating! Since Alexander was home from college this weekend and won't be home on Drew's Birthday, we went ahead and had a mini Birthday party with The Clabo's! Drew picked CiCi's Pizza for this Birthday dinner! As always, we had a great time with our dear friends!!!!

SNOW DAY!!!!!

Valentine's Family Night/It's SNOWING!!!!!!!!!

Last Night we had our annual Valentine's Family night. We had a simple night of just having fun and enjoying each other.

For dinner we had a heart shaped pizza, I know it looks sad, but at least it was good!!!! HA!

Then we played BINGO

and had tons of fun

and sharing LOTS

of LAUGHS!!!!!!!!!

Today was an unusual day, GA and Drew were both out of school today and Daniel was off work today as well! We enjoyed hanging out and being LAZY!:-) The weather was calling for snow, but as we all know, that never happens around this part of the country! But to our surprise, this afternoon we looked outside and saw this......................................

Looks like we will be having a fun day tomorrow playing in the snow, making snow cream and drinking hot chocolate!!!!! :-)

Everyday I thank God for my husband! Not only is he my best friend, he is also my hero. He is one of the strongest people I know and he loves the Lord with all his heart! I am one blessed lady!:-)

For those of you that don't know that Daniel had open heart surgery 16 years ago, click here to get caught up to date.:-) Daniel is scheduled to have his 2nd heart surgery this summer. I would be lying if I said I was not a little nervous about the upcoming surgery but I can honestly say that I have a peace about it and know that God is in control!

I do ask that you keep our family in your prayers. Once again we are holding Jeremiah 29:11 close to our hearts. We are not sure what the future holds, but we are assured of who holds our future!!!!

My little dancer!!!

Last week was parent watch day at Dance. Not only was GA excited that both mom and dad were coming to watch her, she also got her costumes for the recital!!!!!!! The girls got to try on their costumes and wear them during class! They were all so excited!!!!

Today after church I took GA and her BFF out for a fun girls day. We went to the mall and did a little shopping and then had dinner at Olive Garden. It was so much fun hanging out with them. During dinner it hit me........in 10 years these girls will be 17 years old!!!! Man, I hope they will still want to have a girls day with me then!!!! HA!

Rambling

Yes, I know I have not posted lately and thank you to those of you that have contacted me about it!:-) I feel the blog love!!!!HAHA! I just have not had the time to blog, we have been staying super busy with work, school, birthday parties, dance, and church, just to name a few! I am sad to say that even though we have been busy doing all kinds of things, I have NOT taken any pictures!!!:-( So here is a run down our our past week......without pictures!!:-)

-I had a fun weekend scrapbooking with the girls!

-Grace Anne went to a super fun birthday party at the mall! They ate at the food court, went shopping and then got their nails done! She had SOOO much fun!!!

-Drew and GA both had a BLAST last night at skate night with GA's school. Drew skated for 2 hours straight with only coming off the rink 1 time to go to the bathroom!HA! He LOVES skating!!! GA, well she likes going and wearing skates and hanging out with friends! She stayed off the rink more than she was on it!HA!

-Daniel is staying busy with work and also getting ready to share this Sunday at church for Baptist Men's Day. He will be sharing his testimony about his heart condition and about the upcoming heart surgery that he will be having this summer.
I will post a video soon of Daniel sharing his story, the segment will air on a local channel here in SC in the next few weeks!

Okay I think I am done with updating for now!

Oh wait, I have 2 more things to tell you all!!! For those of you wondering where is your Christmas card/picture???? Well, they are still sitting on my kitchen counter! HEHE! Maybe I will get them mailed out before this Christmas!

Also, say a prayer for Drew and the rest of us for that matter! Daniel got a call today from Drew's school saying that he had thrown up, he has been fine and has not gotten sick since he has been home. Pray that he stays well and that the yucky bug that is going around does not bite at our house!!!!
