COMPASSION

I follow several bloggers that I don't personally know, but through wonderful technology I have met them through their blog.

I have followed bloggers in the past that have traveled with Compassion and witnessed first hand the ministry of Compassion. These bloggers travel around and meet different children and families and blog about it the entire time! This week there are 4 bloggers in El Salvador and 2 of them I know(well not really, but I feel like I know them).

They are just on day 2 of their trip and I have been blessed beyond words. We have never sponsored a child for the selfish reason of not having any extra money. Well, all that is about to change! I am not sure the total cost per month it is to sponsor a child, but I think it is @$30. That is 1 time of going out to eat or not buying that pair of shoes that we don't need! I can't think of a better way to spend that money than to help a child through compassion!

So go on over HERE and read the latest updates from the 4 bloggers that are in El Salvador this week or you can go to KELLY'S blog or HEATHER'S blog. Let me warn you, have tissue handy with you watch the video on HEATHER'S blog of her meeting the little girl that her family sponsors!!!

So go on over to those blogs and read, sponser a child and be blessed!!!!

Drew's 1st........

School Project and Field Trip!!!
Drew had to disguise the turkey so it won't be recognized and eaten on Thanksgiving Day! His only request about his turkey was for it to be a bad guy!!! So I pulled out some extra fabric from their Halloween costumes and we made a bad guy cow turkey! HA!
Today was also his first field trip at school! He had a BLAST at Coldstone making his own ice cream!
He made chocolate ice cream with M&M's!
I had a fun day with my little man!

So, now I am a full time mom/substitute teacher/Bath and Body Works employee(just during Christmas)! If I don't blog as much, then you know why! Our normal routine is now not so normal!HA!

That's all for now, it's time to pick Grace Anne up from school and then off to dance we go!!!

Fall Festival

My little Cowboy and Cowgirl

had a BLAST at the Fall Festival

playing games, hanging out with friends, eating cotton candy, popcorn, cupcakes, hot dogs and lets not even begin to talk about the amount of candy they have eaten this weekend! They had enough sugar intake to last them another year!:-)

Oh well, they had a BALL so that is all that matters!!!:-)

Pumpkin Family Night

This family night had a last minute change of plans! The kids were finishing up "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" when Daniel got home from work. He came in with the mail and the kids had cards from Nana and PopPop with $$$ in them! So of course the kids got all excited and wanted to go and spend the money before it burned a hole in their pockets! They wanted to go and buy BOOKS! So we jumped on that before they changed their mind!:-)

Since I had not started on dinner, we moved this family night to CiCi's Pizza and then Books-A-Million! When we got home we finished off the night with a few of the activities we had planned!

It was late when we got home and we did not have time crave our pumpkins so we took the easy route instead!

The kids LOVED their stylish pumpkins and I LOVED not having a mess to clean up!:-)
Then we played Pumpkin BINGO!
Drew and Daniel being silly! Not sure what pose Drew is doing here? Maybe spider man?!?!?!

It was a fun night!
